Lunch and Learn Event – Laser Microdissection for Plant Tissues

Join us for a Lunch and Learn Event about Laser Microdissection for Plant Tissues on May 29, 11 am – 1 pm in PSB-4-4152-Board Room!
Learn about one of the microscopy systems available at the Cellular and Molecular Imaging Facility (CMIF) located at the Plant Sciences Building. We will be discussing the use of the Leica Laser Microdissection 7 (LMD7) system including sample prep, laser cutting, and its applications to answer questions in non-model and model plant systems. The workshop will be hosted by the Dept. of Forestry and Environmental Resources Whitehill lab – Christmas Tree Genetics program in collaboration with the Genetics and Genomics Academy. Participants will have the opportunity to tour the CMIF suite at the end of the workshop to learn more about the systems available.
Lunch will be included and provided.
