Yea Ji Jeong
Bio
Yea Ji Jeong obtained her DVM from Konkuk University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, in 2014. During her veterinary education, she fell in love with anatomic pathology and translational cancer research. Then, she pursued a PhD in Pathobiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she performed PhD dissertation research in locally invasive and metastatic behaviors of human pancreatic cancers in 3-dimensional organoid models. In June 2024, she completed her anatomic pathology residency at the Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, during which she developed a research program in canine and feline pancreatic malignancies. In addition, she is interested in diagnosing and teaching hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases in dogs and cats.
