Quantitative and Computational Developmental Biology
RESEARCH INTEREST GROUPS
The Quantitative and Computational Developmental Biology (QCDB) group is dedicated to interdisciplinary research at the interface of biology, genetics, biochemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering, using model organisms that span the evolutionary tree of life.
The QCDB advances research using cutting-edge methods and new approaches to tackle fundamental questions in cellular and developmental biology. Our mission is to reduce the knowledge divide between experimentalists and computational researchers. To this end, we organize an annual retreat featuring global leaders and we host local workshops and training events to impart quantitative skills to the NC State community, fostering awareness of the latest scientific advancements.
