RESEARCH INTEREST GROUPS

Cell and Developmental Genetics & Genomics

Members of the Cell and Developmental Genetics and Genomics (CDGG) RIG are interested in genotype-phenotype studies, using both quantitative genetics and systems biology approaches.. The CDGG RIG includes over 60 members representing five colleges. Examples of research interests for this group include: systems-level analyses of plant and animal development, neurogenomics, molecular circuits for cellular responses, and the genetics of birth defects. This RIG hosts external seminar speakers as well as workshops on modeling developmental morphogenesis and modeling gene regulatory networks.
